Program Overview
What We Work On
ADA Guidelines: Cold Creek Dog Training follows the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance for service dog training. Under ADA law, there is no federal certification required for a service dog. However, the dog must be trained to perform specific tasks related to a person’s disability and must behave safely and appropriately in public.
We’ll guide you step-by-step through obedience, behavior stability, public access skills, and the beginning stages of task training — all following ADA guidelines.

Program Overview
- 8 Private One-on-One Lessons
Training sessions take place in your home, in public, or at the trainer’s location — wherever real life happens. - $350 Nonrefundable Consultation & Assessment Deposit
Required to begin the program. This covers your initial in-person consultation and temperament evaluation. - $2,500 Total Program Cost
The deposit is applied toward the total cost. - Certificate from Cold Creek Dog Training that you completed the Paws for You Service Dog Program
