WHAT THIS IS:

Hands-on Search & Rescue K9 workshops focused on real-world applications.
Small groups, structured rotations, and multiple search environments with experienced coaches

Train your dog in realistic scenarios!


WHAT YOU’LL TRAIN:

- Live Find & HRD searches, multiple hides, problem-solving
- Rubble searches 
- Alert development and handler timing
- Directionals, obedience, and control
- Agility and environmental confidence
-Any TFR (trained final response)  is welcome!


HOW THE DAY WORKS:

- Small working groups (limited dogs per group)
- Rotations through multiple training stations
- Each handler gets working time and observation time
- Coaching provided at every station
- Real-time feedback and problem solving


WHO THIS IS FOR

- Handlers new to SAR work
-  Experienced teams preparing for certification
- Working handlers wanting more reps and exposure to new ideas and peers

- Basic obedience training
- Pet dog training
- Dogs without foundational control


THE TRAINING SITE:

Located at Search & Rescue Assist. Belle Grove Quarry in Brooklyn, Maryland.

- Dedicated SAR training site since 2001
- Multiple rubble piles and search environments
- Used by working K9 teams AND across ALL SAR disciplines

100% of workshop net proceeds go toward site preservation and upkeep.
