Cold Creek Dog Training is proud to administer Find & Bark workshops in support of Search & Rescue Assist (SARA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit training site in Brooklyn, Maryland.
SARA is a vital resource for the Search & Rescue community, providing a free-use disaster training site where SAR teams from all disciplines and organizations—including K9 teams—can train in realistic, challenging and safe environments.
Having been involved in K9 Search & Rescue since the late 1980s, preserving this site for future teams is personally important to me as a K9 handler
All net proceeds from Find & Bark workshops are donated to SARA.
Since launching Find & Bark Workshops in April 2026, we have raised and donated $2, 387.71 as of August 2026.

Train at Search & Rescue Assist at Belle Grove Quarry in Brooklyn, Maryland with experienced coaches, small working groups, and realistic search scenarios.
Training may include:
Working Spot — $200 for the full 2-day weekend
Audit Spot — $50 per day
Many workshops offer a free training day on Monday, ask about this!
Find & Bark — Faster finding... better barking.

- Multiple hides & problem-solving
- Alerts & handler timing
- Directionals, control & agility
- Environmental confidence
- Distractions!
- Diffused Deep Scent pictures
